We want our students to develop a love of reading and to explore different genres. Wisdom, knowledge, and understanding develop as they read more and more. We also want our students to become responsible library patrons and learn how to care for books.
We have 9,346 books in our library system. The genres in our collection include picture books, devotionals, Biblical study, classics, biographies, historical, sports, science, mysteries, adventure, cooking, how-to-draw, and animals of all kinds.
Our students love to read and learn together. During our library time, we regularly have the elementary students pair up with a child in a younger grade and pass on their love of reading and help the younger child grow in their literacy skills by reading out loud to them.
Through our library, students have the avenue and tools to explore their current passions in detail and discover a new hobby or interest.
